New Summer Menu at Karpo Grill

With British Summer in full swing we’ve just launched our new summer menu at Karpo Grill, showcasing the best British regional produce from the finest suppliers.

New summer starters include a delicate chilled cucumber and avocado soup, with dressed Dorset crab – perfectly refreshing. Burrata cheese and marinated Isle of White tomatoes, gently sprinkled with black olive dust, makes another satisfying starter.

Poached native lobster is served with summer baby vegetables and a citrus dressing. Light and summery, this makes a perfect starter or small plate, wonderful with a crisp glass of Domaine des Pourthié Chardonnay.

 

Almost too beautiful to eat, the courgette flower stuffed with goat curd is served on a bed of aubergine Caponata. A real delight on the eye as well as on the palate, this is sure to be a true summer favourite.

 

Dover sole fillet is served “a la plancha”, beautifully cooked and served with razor clams in a wild sea leaves broth. Beautifully light and utterly delicious.

Ravioli of Drunken Burt cheese is pleasingly bitter. The flavour of this unusual cheese, which is washed in cider, is perfectly complemented by the accompanying sweet Padron peppers and pickled Scottish girolle mushrooms.

We will of course continue to serve our selection of Scottish Beef Buccleuch steaks, all cooked to perfection in our Josper Grill, the only one of it’s kind in King’s Cross.¬† You can view our full menu HERE.
